During the summer we are open only by prior appointment. Please call or email to arrange a time for a visit. Thank you.

Here's another reason we're not open on a regular basis through the summer:  all the hydrangeas except the paniculatas get hard pruned and their wonderful  blooms are gone, dead and buried. See picture below.

Why?  Because most bloom on old growth and once they bloom it is time to prune (if needed).  And it makes it easier to water them through the summer when it can be 94 degrees, as it is today.
