Broom sedge in winter. We only mow parts of our fields going into winter. We like the tawny look of Andropogon virginicus this time of year so we leave some unmown. Yes, often considered a weed as it inhabits fallow fields, still it provides a fine color in the larger, wilder garden. No, we don't sell it.

We admit we're hard to catch. Here's why. We're growing the plants we sell. Rooting cuttings, pruning, potting up, and constantly watering unless the rain falls regularly. None of these are "desk jobs" near the phone or computer where we can answer you.
This doesn't mean we don't want to hear from you. Just that we're often busy throughout the day keeping the nursery moving forward and would hope you understand our inability always to respond quickly to your inquiries. We do our best and that's our promise. Thanks.
